Perhaps a silly question, but like it says on the tin, do you mac mini rockers think that the first mini to sport a MDP (March 2009) will run a 27" LED Apple Cinema Display?

A bit of back story to those who are interested and would question why on earth I would want to do this ... I'm passing my ACD onto my father and so he'll need a computer that will run it. He already has (my) old G4 mini and the most inexpensive solution to my eyes would be to get one that has a MDP on it. He's really just an email jockey and very light InDesign user and I'm just scouring ebay for what's available at the moment. This doesn't necessarily mean I'm looking for the cheapest 3,1 mini on the planet, just want to know what the lowest spec that would support it is.

I assume that it would work, but just wanted some input from you chaps. Cheers!

EDIT:

of COURSE I did a google site search after I post a new thread, and pretty much answered my own question. Sorry!

Still happy to read your input and experiences though!

The minis with nvidia chipsets (2009 and 2010) aswell as the 2011 can run resolutions up to 2560x1600
