Mac Mini 3.1 with Yosemite Upgrade Shuts Off

I upgraded the OS X on my Mac Mini 3.1 to Yosemite after installing 4GB of Memory. Now my computer periodically shuts off without any warning and without any apparent cause.

Is there anything I can do?
