Picked up the new $799 mini for Xcode dev, sweet so far.

Overall Geekbench - 6411

Integer - 4822
Floating Point - 9142
Memory - 5222
Stream - 4795...
 
32 bit. (Free version).

Only bogus thing is they put in 2 2Gig memory modules instead of 1 4 Gig.

Not a big deal, extra $30 I need to spend at crucial to take this to 8 Gig :)


I almost went with the base model, but I thought the dedicated average graphics card may come in handy someday.
 
Being that you open it up.

Is there the option to add another HDD?
Or is it similar to the iMacs, you need to order it with two to have the option?

That's because your Sandy Bridge's memory controller is dual-channel.

Work fine with one stick, but faster with 2.
