Hello. I've recently been thinking about putting in a 80GB Intel X25M SSD as the boot drive for my Mac Mini and replace the Superdrive with a 640GB Western Digital Blue. Then put the Superdrive in an external enclosure so I can still use it. Is this possible? If so how and what materials will I need. Thanks.

I would go the cheap route and get a SATA Power cable and a SATA Data cable. An all in one cable is likely better but they are tough to find. Then I would stick a few felt furniture pads on the bottom of the hard drivers to prevent it from making noise like it would just resting on the interior framework. If you do some searching you can likely find better prices on the cables.

Or you could get a prebuilt MCE Optibay. It is a nice solution but insanely expensive at $99.
