Mac mini and Macbook/Macbook Pro/Macbook Air?

I was just wondering if anyone here on MacRumors uses this combination, Mac mini as a desktop computer/HTPC and a Macbook/Macbook Pro/Macbook Air as your mobile computer. I know you could use the notebook as a desktop also but I prefer to have a fixed solution as a HTPC and always attached to my monitor/TV, perfect combination in my opinion.
