I currently share a display monitor, keyboard and mouse via a KVM switch conected to a PC running Windows and a Mac mini running Snow Leopard. Using the scroll lock key, I can toggle back and forth between operating systems. I plan on dumping my PC and replacing it with an Imac.
I would like to know if I can connect the Mac mini display out cable to the Imac in the hopes that I could be able to toggle back and forth between the two operating systems. Is this possible? Does anyone currently do this? Thanks.

Ray

You can hook up a mini with miniDisplayPort to a 27" iMac with a mDP input.

You'll have to toggle twice, once to toggle the keyboard/mouse and again to toggle the iMac's video input. And you'll have to do it in the right order, which is different, depending on which way you are switching.
