If the ACDs are updated and a 24" version is made available will the mac mini be able to run it at native res with no scaling or is 23" the max it can handle?
Thanks:)

The max size of display is determined by resolution, not panel dimensions.

The Mac Mini could power a 100 inch display if the resolution was 1900x1200 or less.

Ahh okay. I was just assuming the resolution would increase with a larger screen. Thanks for the clarification. Out of interest what resolution is the current 23" ACD and is the imac 24" a greater resolution than the 23" ACD?

They're both 1920x1200.

Dell, for example, do a 27" Widescreen, that's still 1920x1200, thus the Mini can drive it..

Thanks andy.
I just checked apple's site and found that out (shouldn't be so lazy). I guess if there is a 24" ACD released than they will stick to those specs. Now I just need to decide between a mini and a PRO! (unless a mid tower arrives at Macworld....)
