I have a client who is wanting to replace two Apple TVs with the new Mac Mini for a more usable alternative. I've been looking around the web to find an adapter that would allow me to just pop in the Mini with as little or no change to the current setup and I found this:

http://www.buy.com/prod/dvi-to-hdtv...t-to-dvi-male-female/q/loc/111/217579221.html

Same output as the Apple TVs and Mini-Display port connector for the Mac Mini as far as I can tell. Any thoughts/feedback?

you may have found a good solution. you can return it for up to 45 days. I say if no one tells you it works and no tells you it does not work. Be the tester. you lay out about 25 bucks to test it. you can mail it back for about 5 in a priority flat rate box you would lose 8 bucks if it does not work.

I have not had the occasion to use that piece for my mini. Maybe some one has used that exact piece. If people tell you it works or it does not work make sure they use the exact same piece of gear as they can be different. Most likely it will not work but the correct conversion circuit could be in those pieces.
