hi, bit of a stupid question.. but how do i output audio from the mac mini to the tv?

I have the video going through a dvi to hdmi cable. I can navigate to my HDMI4 preset and see the video no worries.
The audio inputs on my tv are on another preset if that makes sense - so to thear the audio i need to flick to INPUT2... but obviously i dont get any picture ont hat preset...? how do i output the audio and video simultaneously through my tv?
thanks

what kind of tv are you working with. More than likely you will need some form of external speakers for the Mini. If you have surround sound for your tv thats the best way to do it, if not, any other computer speakers will work. Pretty sure you cant have audio input into the tv at the same time as your on your HDMI setting because it expects the sound to come through that, which the mini cannot do.

Its kind of strange that a TV separates the inputs like that. Even if the MFR did expect audio on the HDMI.
