Looking at coconutID...this is what I get (see pic). That built date can't be right seeing i was just able to get this refurb model in the beginning of Jan/2015

It's probably because it's a refurb and the motherboard was either replaced on that date or that was the date they flashed the serial number on the motherboard to represent a refurb. I see nothing wrong with having a "built" date for a refurb as Nov 2014.

Remember reburbs do not mean used.
 
The build date is based on the serial number, if the logic board was replaced, the computer gets a new serial number, thus throwing off your Mac's born on date.
