Hey all in Apple land. I reciently bought an iPhone, and I loved it so much that it switched me from a hardcore PC guy to buying a new iMac, which I also love. Here is my question, has anyone attempted wow at 1080p resolution with a new mac mini? I want to get a 2.0 ghz with 2 gigs of ram and hook it up to a 1080p tv. The ONLY game i want to play on it is wow. I know wow has low requirements and alot of the lag comes from ram related issues, so thats why id get 2 gigs. Wow runs amazing on my 24" imac, i dont need incredible fps, 30 is good enough. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks

It wont work. The Intel 950 chip was slow when it was originally released, let alone now. There's just no way you're going to get a reasonable FPS rate at 1900x1200, RAM isn't the issue. Its the graphics card.

For example, Anandtested it in 2005 with then top performing chips. The NVIDIA 6200 integrated (faster than your 950) was barely playable at 1024x768, let alone 1600x1200.
