Dear All,
I got a mac mini in my living room where I have encoded my music cds and some of my own dvds.
I use Frontrow to play it and it works.

Now I got a TV in my sleeping room that I want to connect to the mac mini.
How can I do this?

In another room I got a Windows XP desktop how can I connect this one as well so I can hear the music and see the dvds on it from the mac mini?
Any smart people that can help?

are you talking about running a cable from the living room to the bedroom so the mini actually outputs to the second TV? Or do you mean having something else (like an :apple:TV) set up in the bedroom and streaming the content from the mini?

Hi
Thanks for quick reply.
Yeah I think about to do it all Wireless without any cables.
How do the mac tv work can that be used?
So I must buy a mac tv for my Windows XP desktop and for the tv in the bedroom?

Just share the folder that your media is on so your Windows XP computer can pick it up over the network.

Can Someone make a quick guide to make the mac mini wireless and share the folder with password?

I am a PC guy so I am not sure how to set it up on the Mac Mini.
It has an external harddrive connected and it is this one I need to get access.

What about the TV in the other room must I buy a apple tv for that?
The apple tv is very expensive I can see and it comes with 40 gig and 160 gig.

Doing a search on the forums will provide you with the answers you need.

You must have SOMETHING connected to your TV to output files to it. Why are you even asking that question?
