I have two 17" LCD Monitor, one monitor has connected to Mac Mini, I would like to connect 2nd LCD monitor on the same Mac Mini, unfourtunately, two LCD Monitor only have VGA (no DVI), so can I find any VGA to HDMI converter or something like that to connect 2nd LCD Monitor.

existing connection
==============

Mac Mini ->display port to vga cable->first LCD Monitor
(is it possible) -> HDMI port to vga converter -> second LCD Monitor

pls advice, thanks

From Apple KB (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4214):

Can the HDMI port drive analog displays (VGA displays for example) using adapters?

No. The HDMI port will drive digital connections—such as DVI—using the adapter that came with the Mac mini, but cannot be used for analog displays such as VGA. You can purchase a Mini DisplayPort to VGA adapter separately to drive analog displays.

I know VGA is analog, HDMI is digital connection, that's why I mentioned the HDMI to VGA converter on my first thread, the apple support link has mentioned it, but how can I use Mac Mini to connect dual display.

Mini display port to VGA on Mac Mini is connecting to first VGA Monitor, how about the second display solution.

PS I found that there is no mini DVI port on Mac Mini, otherwise I can use mini-dvi to vga to connect second monitor.

Well you could get a converter and put it between the HDMI port and your monitor, but it'll probably cost ~$100 - Might as well just invest in a new monitor at that point.
