I've had two Macbook Pros and an Imac with internet connection issues. They would always lose their connection after going to sleep and my Imac would lose a connection randomly. I tried everything I read in the forums here and suggestions from MacWorld magazine and the Apple forums and could never get the issue fixed. Seems there were many like me.

I like features of the Macs and was wondering if there were the same issues with the Mac mini's. I know there have been problems with Lion and connection issues, but I never had Lion and have only used Snow Leopard up to this point.

So will I likely see the same issues with the Mac mini as I did with the Imac's and Macbook Pros?

Ultimately, it's not an issue of iMacs vs. MacBook Pros vs. Mac minis, since they all use roughly the same Airport chipsets.

If your iMac is randomly losing its connection to WiFi, it may have a bad Airport card.

If your devices are failing to join the networks when waking from sleep, the keychain storing the passwords may be locked, or the Airport cards may be bad.

Furthermore, the wireless base station may be bad, or you may not have a strong enough signal.

There are solutions to these problems.
