Has anyone upgraded the RAM in a Core2Duo Mac Mini? I'm considering buying one and then getting the RAM from Crucial.com after. The same RAM is $60 cheaper from Crucial, but from what I can tell online, installing it is quite the exercise. I've built my own PCs for years and I'm perfectly comfortable with the insides of a desktop, however, the inside of the Mac Mini looks like a lot of plastic / laptop components. If its a pain to do I'd rather pay Apple the $60 and have them install it for me.

I've installed RAM in at least 15 Mac minis now.

It's not that hard short of the short cable for the fan. You're going to need long nails and some tweezers for that. Apple did have much longer cables at one point that didn't need to be unplugged.
