Hi, I'm sure there are other threads similar to this but was wondering if there were any issues that were Mac mini specific:
Recently, when I select to put my Mac to sleep it takes 10-15 seconds for the monitor and the computer to go to sleep after I actually click on sleep. Before, when my Mac was 'relatively' new, It would go to sleep almost immediately after I clicked sleep. Is this a normal issue in regards to the operating system "aging" and slowing down since there is now more software/apps installed on it? Also, I makes sure to quit all applications before I put it into sleep, But I have programs like GeekTool running widgets on my desktop. Could that be the culprit?
If you need any clarification just let me know.
Thanks in advanced!
