Hi All - my first foray into the Mac Mini is one that I have gotten from a friend which has also become my latest joy of frustation for the following reason of which I could really use some help with.
1) He installed Fedora on the unit which became badly corrupted (no idea how or why,) but is irrelevant to me as I want to get rid of this.
2) I want to wipe the drive and re-install OS X on it, but everytime I try the installer (of which I have booted from) is unable to find the hard drive (even in Disk Utility the pinwheel spins forever, never finding a drive at all,) which results in me getting only this far. If I do a system profiler it does see the drive under ATA, with full specs for it.
This mac mini is of the PPC variety (if that helps.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
