Mac Mini DVI to VGA Male or female?

All right guys i need to know weather the Mac mini's Adapter is male or female.

Female I believe. It is the same as is always standard on graphics cards.

yep, if you mean the white/short one that comes with the mini, it's female. adapters are cheap, one HERE, but sure you could find something cheaper or even local at an electronics shop or computer store. best of luck.

Why do you need an adapter? All monitors should come with a male end.

The computer's vid-card is going to be Female.

The Monitor's VGA-out or DVI-out port is going to be Female.

The Monitor cable should be Male on both ends.

So what's the problem?

Do you have a VGA-only monitor?
(If so, then you need a VGA-Female to DVI-Male Adapter).
