Hi everyone,
So i managed to get a fully working Early 2009 Mac Mini 2.0 GHz Duo. It had 4 GB of RAM and the original HD. It worked well, and had El Capitan installed. Aftwer a week or so, I wanted to upgrade it a bit, due to the low cost of RAM and SSD. I disassembled the Mini without issue, installed a Crucial 128SSD I had laying around, and 8 GB of noname RAM (but with SEC chips) I got from Amazon.
I had CCC cloned the drive to the ssd, and it booted with no problems, reporting the RAM and SSD correctly, and it also worked without a hitch. So I wanted to install Mojave, using DosDude's patch... it worked all the way to the build of the USB stick, and the reboot wth option; at the first try I got a grey STOP sign. Return to OS, Change the kernel flags to -v -no_compat_check and reboot. Now it goes all the way to the install. And at the end of the installation, it reboots... to a stop sign.
But, here's the catch; I try to reboot and it will just come up to a solid white light, no chime, no video, no nothing. And then it turns itself off after a minute. Tried resetting PMU, nothing. Tried resetting the SMC, the thing starts with the fan full blast, but after the reboot, as above, solid white light and then off.
Break open the thing. Remove one DIMM. As Above.
Remove both simms and even the mezzanine board (no HD, no DVD). As Above.
Remove battery, just the board.
As Above. the LED never flashes it's always a solid white. It only responds o a ress to turn on, and a long press to turnoff (if I do it before it turns itself off).
Out of ideas... what can it be??

Yes, well, it’s past that - or too early, I’m trying to get the mini back booting into mac os.

Could it be, since I know that Mojave applies firmware updates, that it tried to flash the EFI with an unknown FW bricking the Mini? since the hack, I suppose, makes the installer believe that it is installing in a different machine....
