Hi,
My current setup is a Mac Mini early 2009 with a mini-DVI to HDMI adapter connected to a Samsung TV and then the audio connected to a Samsung Sound bar.
I use a Logitech Harmony Ultimate to switch between "watch TV" and "watch mac" modes because I have to change the TV input from HDMI to TV and also the audio input in the sound bar. When switching away from Mini to TV and then back to the Mini, the screen remains grey although the Mini is awake. If I turn up/down the volume I can hear it.
I'm having this problem in Yosemite as well.
BTW I did not have this issue with my old LG TV where the audio was also connected to the TV as well. This is happening since I've changed the TV.
Is there any way to work around this? If I had one of those adapters to convert both audio and video to a single hdmi output, would it work?
Thanks.
