Hello everyone,

Im new to the Mac world and need a little help. I recently bought a mac mini intel duo hoping to have some final cut fun on it somewhere in the near future. After a little research I discovered that only the new FCS 5.1 supports intel. I read that you can still install it on the mac mini even though its system requirements aren't up to par, but I havent heard anything on how it runs or if at all. I tried to install an express version and a pro version on mine, but got an error saying I didnt have the proper graphic card (ACP graphic card? Cant remember off the top of my head). My question being, has anyone had luck with 5.1 on the mini duo or has anyone heard of any plans on releasing a mac mini friendly version of FC? Thanks in advance.

The Mac Mini is just not a professional machine, apple would NEVER release a version of final cut pro for the Mac Mini. BUT, you may be in luck when the new version of Final Cut Express comes out, it will most likely work with your mac mini.
