mac mini for editing

Hello guys i am a power user on linux
and i was wondering if a mac mini would be a good choice for video editing
i don't do much just some streams and youtube videos

If you're doing 1080p stuff, a mini with the 2.6 i5 or above and at least 8GB or RAM should be able to handle it fine.

well i all ready have a linux with 22 gb of ram
and a 2013 i7
i was just wondering if the programs are better than the linux ones
