Mac Mini for iTunes

Can the Mac Mini be used solely for iTunes-meaning the ability to store my iTunes Library and stream to my iMac, MBP and other iOS devices?

Yes but you can do this with any cheap windows computer also

As noted, it's not the cheapest option but it works really well as an itunes server. I run mine 24/7 (for other reasons that just iTunes) and run two Apple TVs off the itunes on it. I also run it as a HTPC on my main Sony Bravia.

If you are going to set it up as an itunes server you may as well pair it with a decent TV so it is a HTPC as well.
