Mac Mini Fussy With Blank Discs?

Hi

I have a Duo Core Intel Mac Mini

My old G4 powerbook will gladly accept any blank dvd i give it, that includes, ritek, verbs, princo

However my Mac Mini just accepts Verbs, any time i put any other kind of blank dvd in, to backup my media, the Mac Mini just spits it back out, no error or anything.

Anyone know of a solution?..or if there are other problems like this?

Never tried Ritek or Princo, but Maxell works fine on my iMac.

Now you have two brands to choose from.

i think it is a sign that the drive is dying that is what happened to my mac

The same thing was happening to the drive in my iMac (Rev A CD). The drive eventually wouldn't write to DVDs anymore (of any kind), and had to be replaced (under Applecare).
