So hey im new to posting here but have always found many great and helpful advice on this forum... now forgive me if Ive created a new thread in the wrong place, although im sure i did a pretty good job of narrowing it down to this place here.

What I hope to do:
My friends have been ordering some pretty cool hardware for their computers from a couple different online sources. The one which struck me as interesting was xoxide.com where they have some pretty nifty cases for your hardware :D sadly im at a loss as to how i could fit my mini into such a thing. I am however planning on upgrading my RAM as well as my HD to make up empty space which im pretty sure there will be.

Problem:
Is it possible? Or rather, is it worth it? I can definitely see it working just not as pretty as I'd hope...I am however planning on upgrading my RAM as well as my HD to make up for empty/extra space which im pretty sure there will be more than enough of

this is one of the cases Im currently hoping purchase

(posted this here and forgot to add my computer's info so heres my edit)
Mac mini
Model No: A1176
Im guessing this one is late 2006? got it for X-mas that year

Build a new system into that case if you want it that bad. The motherboard won't bolt into a standard matx/atx case.

as much as i dont want to do that... it definitely seems thats the way its gotta be thank you
guess its time to start saving up :p

You can beat the Mac Mini performance fairly cheaply building your own... spend a little more and do a little research and you can have a Hackintosh. :)

By the way, if you ever decide to sell your Mini then PM me ;)
