Mac Mini HD 5000 Graphics or Iris Graphics?

Looking into Purchasing the New Mac Mini.. Debating between either the

Base Model HD 5000 Graphics, 1.4Ghz Core i5 (Turbo Boost to 2.7Ghz), 4GB RAM, 500GB HD
OR
Middle Model with Iris Graphics, 2.6Ghz Core i5, 8GB RAM, 1TB HD

Is there really a huge difference with the Graphics and CPU here ?

The fact that you need to ask the question means you don't need the Iris graphics.

I normally ignore ghz upgrade options, but 1.4 is massively less. Go with the iris just to get the ghz, unless your needs are that basic. The new base model is the mac version of the ipad 2.
