Greetings All,

I have recently upgraded a Core Solo mini to a 2.33 GHz C2D (T7600). The result is a much quicker machine, no noticeable increase in fan noise and a barely noticeable increase in temperature. Groovy.

But I have a problem. I managed to break one of the white plastic spring-loaded pins on the heat sink assembly. Now, this is not a huge problem - the sink is still well-attached and balanced, plus I have a temporary fix in place, but it is far from ideal. Can anyone tell me where I can get replacement pins from, or a replacement heat sink of the same type (with pins, obviously)?

Many thanks,
N

Yeah, 123macmini.com forums. if I remember correctly someone found a screw or nut/bolt combination that was a good substitution.
