Hello,

My parent asked me to purchase a new PC for them and i thought i Mac mini were they can connect it to the TV they have already, all i need to know is if its possible to be connected to my TV which is a Sony KLV-L32M1.

Also i like to know if i purchase this item from UK Apple store how much discount will i be getting with a student ID.

Thanks,
Yizi

I checked online and it looks like that TV doesn't have a VGA input so you can't use the included DVI to VGA adapter. You need to buy a DVI to Video adapter to connect it to the TV.

For the price, go to the Apple Online store and on the left side, click the Education Store link. Select your school and you can view the education prices.

If you are a student at a university or a "Higher Education" institution, then you'll get about a 10% discount on the Mac Mini. The amount varies from model to model (i.e., it's higher on more expensive options). You can't see the actual discount you'll get unless you access the Apple Store website from your institution's network.

Andrew.
