As of lately Ive noticed some issues with my Mac mini(2009). Whenever the computer has been on for a while it either A. Doesn't want to reboot to windows and crashes before it gets to the Windows loading screen, or B. Loads windows and after 10 mins crashes.
After I restart the computer when this happens, my audio no longer works on the Mac portion. It shows in system profile but not in system preferences and says no audio device.
Ive reset the PRAM and unpluged it for 10 mins, fixes the audio issue but not windows sometimes.
Ive tried reinstalling windows and OSX.
Could this be a problem with my Harddrive - Ive upgraded to a 320gb WD or should I schedule a visit to an apple store due to it being something more critical?
Any help would be appretiated.
Thanks

I'd try reinstalling the bootcamp drivers, and if that doesn't work, try removing the bootcamp partition if you don't have anything important on there.

I vaguely remember having a similar issue but I don't remember exactly what it was

I both deleted the bootcamp partition and reinstalled windows, no luck. Sometimes when I was trying to install windows it would hang at booting to windows. :-/ Im starting to think this is more of a hardware issue now.

Sounds defective. If you can get it to repeat reliably then by all means take it to the Genius bar (w/appointment of course). Otherwise maybe call Apple.

Might want to swap the drive before hand - in case they decide to swap it with a new unit. Also tech could blame non-stock drive for problems.
