Mac Mini - HTPC Server

Hey Everyone,

I have just moved into my own home with my fiancee and i am looking for a way to set a mac mini up in the understairs cupboard and distribute the contents on it MP4 movie files and music to tv's and hi-fi's around the house!!

Is apple tv the only way i am going to be able to do this? Becuase most of the tv's in our house only have scart connecitons.
