Hi, New here and looking for some help. I have a 2010 vintage mac mini. It had a cd stuck inside and I had to take the mini apart the get it out. Unfortunately I made a stupid mistake and broke some conectors off of the logic board. Questions I have are: can my internal hard drive be used as an external one? Has anyone ever replaced a logic board? I can do I but I don't know of any old hard disk compatability problems. I think if I bring it to Apple that it will be the cost of a new computer.
Thanks for any help!

There are logic board repairers around. eBay advertises one in the US.

The internal drive is just a standard 2.5" HDD so it can be put in any external sata enclosure for 2.5" drives.

Logic boards for replacement are available on the net. Just do google search with your model specs but you will find they are almost as expensive as a brand new base level Mac mini.
