I’m wondering if anyone is using a Mac mini M1 connected to a Samsung 4k TV (the model I would be connecting to is a 58” UN58TU7000FXZA).
I’m trying to come up with a shared living room homework/Xcode computer that the kids can all share and just use a Bluetooth keyboard/mouse on their lap from the couch.
I have a Windows 11 machine with an Nvidia 1650 super card connected to a Samsung 4k TV (UN58NU6080FXZA) in our dedicated school room and it works absolutely flawlessly. But it’s also a $3,200 custom beast of a machine (5TB of SSD) that is overkill for what our other kids need. It runs Microsoft Flight Simulator fairly well 😄
I’ve seen so many monitor issue threads with M1 and M2 machine that I thought I would post this question here before I buy the M1 to see if anyone has tried this already with a similar Samsung 4k TV model? 😊
Edit to clarify that I mainly would be running Safari for educational websites, YouTube and Xcode, hopefully without blurry text and controls.
