I've been using a new brand M1 Mac mini since early December. I 've an Asus VG27AQ 2k connected via HDMI.
I want to know if its normal to have some bad text rendering, mostly bold or ultralight fonts in apps like Podcasts, Music, Safari, etc...
I was wiling if could it be better to use a USB-C to DisplayPort and use the monitor DP instead of HDMI.

Looks like your monitor has 109 PPI, i just returned my s3220dgf due to blurry text. Turns out it has below 100 ppi. I just got the LG UL 550w, and text is way better, everything is more crisp now.

I know the ppp is not the best... but all text render perfect. This only happens on podcasts, iTunes and Overcast
