Mac mini & MacBook Air loosing wired/wireless networks randomly

Ive got a 2012 Mac mini hardwired to latest tall time capsule 3tb

ive for a 2017 bankbook air wireless to apple time capsule

Both machines on 10.14 worked absolutely perfect no issues or problems. Now EVER since 10.15 both machines are constantly dropping internet randomly. With every update the issues getting worst, now I'm only getting 30mins before networks broken.

what's happening:

I go on Ebay as I buy and sell a lot , after 30 mins Ebay still works but I open ANYTHING else internet - Facebook - Mail - Torrent they just hang not pulling anything down but Ebay ( or whatever page has been open for 30mins ) will still work as normal.

I then restart the machines and they won't turn off with just the Catalina wallpaper on screen for hours leaving me to pull the power cord or force restart by 10 second button press.

ive tried resetting PRAM no luck , I suspect formatting won't make any difference as I upgraded my MacBook to a Samsung Evo 970 500gb and reinstalled and issue still there.

its driving me mental as both machines suffer with the exact same issue but both are connected to net totally differently.

Any suggestions would be amazing as this issue is driving me insane.

Random connectivity errors are possibly a rare feature for a select few, and unfortunately I am included. Wi-Fi on Catalina is edgy. My MacBook Air 2017 on Mojave was flawless in terms of Wi-Fi. There might have been an error or two, but so infrequent that I only have a vague memory.

On the other hand, when I installed Catalina 10.15 I was faced with a unique error - plugging my charger in or out would kill my internet connection for that second - any transfers/ downloads would just stop and give an error. This was finally resolved by the time 10.15.1 came out.

You might want to go for a complete fresh install of 10.15.2 downloaded from Apple. Try not to upgrade from an older copy, if you are going to make the effort to reinstall and keep your fingers crossed, might as well make the effort to download new and then install.

See if this helps kick out some corruption somewhere. Else, you can try removing your network plist files before attempting that time-consuming reinstall. Head to the folder and delete the files as shown in my screenshots. Restart, do the usual PRAM/ NVRAM/ SMC reset for good measure, and see if it resolves the issue. If not, go for a reinstall.

I've left Mac running since you replied and so far MacBook is perfect , Mac mini has also been sorted and applied but can't see why that hasn't been fixed ( just used as a machine to run sales stickers for postage )

So just removing those plist files resolved the issues? Good! You just saved yourself a lot of time!
