Mac Mini media centre setup guide?

I'm sure I've seen mention of it, but can't find it...... I'm looking to buy a Mac Mini and use as a media server, so was trying to find a thread which summarises all the usual questions about what the recommend software, hardware, connectors etc are.

Does such a thread exist and if so, is there any way to have it made a sticky?

What do you want to do with it?

I am happy with media center lite - take mini, plug into TV (with right adapter), run Front Row.
