Hello everyone. I've decided to get the m1 mac for professionaldesign and casual video work. I want to get the 16GB RAM version with a larger SSD. Looking at apple's sites there are two mac minis to chosoe from – one starts from 256G and goes tto 2TB. Theother one starts at 512 and goes to 2TB as well. It seems strange. Is there any difference between the two?

I also found on apple's website there are two models with m1 chip – MGNR3xx/A, MGNT3xx/A

Not sure if there's any difference between the two, so I wanted to check with you guys first.

No idea to be honest but I can't see any difference other than the starting size of the SSD.
Don't know about the two reference numbers either I'm afraid.
Maybe someone else does :)

I'm pretty sure that they have two SKUs because they are both available without build-to-order options. Both 8 GB but one 256 GB vs 512 GB. Other than that, when it is build-to-order, they are identical.

I’ve had my Mini about 3 weeks. 16/1TB

No matter which one you order once you add upgrades they end up the same. If you add identical upgrades.
