Mac mini mid 2010 mdp to scart?

Hi,

I have a mac mini mid 2010 with hdmi and mini displayport. Now I want to connect it to my old TV through scart. For my macbook pro (2007) i had a DVI to video adapter from apple wich I connected to a video to scart adapter. Mini displayport can't convert to video, the only analog signal possible out of the MDP is VGA. I saw there are some VGA to scart adapters, but I'm not sure that will work, does anyone know if this is a way to connect my mac mini mid 2010 to my old TV?
