i have a mac mini mid 2011 and i have 2x 4gb ram and i upgrade it to 1x


RAM MUSHKIN 972020A 8GB SO-DIMM DDR3 PC3-10666 1333MHZ APPLE SERIES

and while i am using the mac it restarts

please help me
 
Make sure the stick is fully seated.

Use memtest86 from a boot disk to thoroughly test the ram. You might have received a bad stick.

+1 for ensuring the RAM is seated correctly. I recently upgraded my Mini and I didn't seat it properly so only one stick was registered. The RAM slots on that particular mini are one of the tightest I've ever upgraded on a computer (and I've upgraded 100s of machines over the last 20 years). Either that or I was being too soft :)
