Hello all,

I've been looking for a monitor for a mac mini and I've narrowed it down to the 3 below:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/...&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=317828027&pf_rd_i=468294

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Philips-247...43UM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1354385862&sr=8-1

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007830R64/ref=noref?ie=UTF8&psc=1&s=computers

Does anyone have any thoughts as to which would be best? Just for basic photo editing, no gaming.

Cheers,
Ashley

Out of those I would probably go with the NEC. Had good experience with their monitors. Also to consider are the Dell monitors with IPS such as the 2412 or 2410. I'm currently trying to decide on two of the Dells or NECs myself for the same purpose. For photo editing depending on how serious you want to get it's worth spending another 100 pounds or so on a calibration tool that works with whichever screen you decide on. Very much worth it in my experience. I bought the X-rite Colormunki. Wide gamut vs "normal" depends on the question if you make your on prints with a good printer or work with a lab that uses wide gamut files. For most people interested in basic photo editing a lower tier NEC or DELL 2412 will be very good I suppose.
