I have a 2010 Mac Mini. I'm performing a clean installation of Snow Leopard 10.6.3 using a retail disc. After the initial installation, the machine works fine.
However, after I apply updates and then perform a Time Machine backup from several weeks ago, the Mini won't boot up on restart.
The machine hangs on on boot, with the spinning spiral. It won't boot into Safe Mode. I've booted to the retail disc and repaired permissions, with no luck, and also performed a hardware test, which revealed no issues. I've installed three times, and this keeps happening.
Any ideas?
