Ive been having Internet connection problems lately. Yesterday the Internet didn't work at all. Today I disconnect and reconnect some wires and now it's working on my iPad but not my Mac. (2011 unibody)I rebooted it, turned wifi on and off, changed the ip address that my iPad is using. Nothing works.

I think my modem is screwed up because it's recognizing the router and it says it's connected, but it won't actually load any web pages.

I assume you've turned everything off, turned the router on first, let it boot up, and then fired up your mac, and it still doesn't work?

Are you able to use your mac to connect to the router at all? That is, can you make a connection to the router and still aren't able to connect to the internet, or can you not even connect to the router?

It's connecting to my router. It says it's connected to my home network. When I open safari it just stays stuck on the loading bar. I tried Firefox and its the same thing. But somehow internet is fine on my iPad
