I recently bought a new Mac Mini with a 24 inch Philips display. When I connected the display and started up the computer, it booted up and showed the grey apple screen, but it never made it past that. On the screen it reads "cannot display this video mode, change computer display input to 1920x1080@60Hz." As you might have realized, I can't get onto the computer to do so because I cannot see what I am doing. This is extremely frustrating because I had my Mini hooked into my friend's tv and it worked perfectly right away and now I can't even get it to connect. Does anybody know any hotkeys/solutions to this problem? Please help!

That error message seems to be asking you to change the settings on your monitor, not on your computer. Does your monitor have an On Screen Display (OSD) controlled by a series on buttons, possibly underneath or at the side of the screen? Your Philips manual should help.
