The past few years I have owned a laptop which has resulted in the use of my windows pc decrease. I now just use my first gen iPad or windows laptop for any work that I have to do. I now want to get a office and set up a desktop pc again, however money is tight. So I have to options
My first option is to update my windows pc, however this could cost a bit, and windows is liable for all sorts of problems even though I haven't had any on my windows 7 laptop.
And my second option is to use my educational discount and buy a mac mini, I can use my wireless keyboard for my iPad and link it to a standard pc screen.
As for program's, I'll run adobe photoshop occasionally, Corel draw, and the odd flight simulator game. I originally wanted the iMac but my budget can't stretch that far.
Anyone share some experience, I've been to my local apple store and been told what I need it for isthe mac mini is fine, I'm looking at the entry 2012 model by the way and with the discount I can't get it for £476. However what apple won't tell me is the disadvantages.
I like apple and the use of cloud makes syncing documents easy, but isit worth the money.
