Mac Mini Output To iPad

I was just wondering, can I use iPad as an output (Primary, no secondary) to Mac Mini using Duet Display app?

iPad only has video out, meaning you can't use it as a monitor natively. However, there are multiple apps that allows you to mirror your OS X screen to an iOS device. Duet Display works quite well.
