Good morning,

Has anyone had any problems with their power indicator on the front of the mini? I have a new (2 weeks old) mini and suddenly the led won't light, neither when power is on, nor when the computer is asleep (no pulsing light). I did do the RAM upgrade, but that didn't affect anything immediately - things were good for a week, now this.

Any ideas?

Thank you!

It is possible that you left something loose and it seperated. When I upgraded the hdd in my "ole whitey" intel imac I thought I had put it together perfectly. About two days later it started randomly spining the hdd fan up to max rpm. Talk about loud and annoying! Turns out the the plastic clip that plugged in the hdd sensor had gotten brittle and cracked. When it heated up it would expand or move just enough to loose connection and then it was full speed ahead. If you thought the mooing macbooks were annoying you should have heard this thing. Anyways point being I would open up the mini (you should be an expert now) and gently inspect the connections. I suspect one has worked loose.
