Hi,

I need to upgrade the RAM in my girlfriends MacMini (current (well, as current as they get :rolleyes:) 1.83ghz). Should I put 2 gigs in there or 4 gigs (i guess i would still only have 3...)?
Also, I have a whitebook 2.4 ghz. could i take the 2 gigs out there and put them in the mini and then get 4 gigs for the macbook? is the ram compatible?

thanks very much,

should be fine the mini upgrade is not the easiest upgrade tho little difficult

yes you could do that, I believe. i posted a link to an upgrade walk-through. hold on....

edit: The upgrade tutorial can be found here. I upgraded my old mini a couple years ago. It is a bit tricky to get the top off the mini, but actually a lot easier than i thought it would be.
