Looking to upgrade to 16 gig, but as I've been researching I mostly see the 1600mhz variety. Today I came across someone suggested 1866mhz?
Does that work with late 2012 2.3 i7? The clocking speed is 11, the other 1600mhz, clocking speed is 9. (Kingston hyper).
Looking for suggestions, even other brands... Thanks

Yeah, unless you are looking to get away with the least expensive RAM and know what you are doing, the apple certified RAM from DMS always works and always seems to be a good buy. Some save a few $$ and just buy the non-certified stuff there and have had no problems. They used to burn in all their RAM, dunno if they still do.

Some friends of mine have had issues with both OWC and newegg RAM. Newegg return policy stinks....
