You'll have to bear with me as this is all coming from my girlfriend, to whom I gave a C2D Mac Mini to for Christmas. Turns out she's having some wireless issues. I know nothing of her setup, I don't know what router she's using, for instance. I'll be gathering more information when she gets home from work. All I'm simply here to ask about at the moment is to whether or not this is a known issue.

Do Mac Minis (Using Leopard, with hers I assume 10.5.1) have any sort of issues with getting dropped from wireless networks periodically?

Also, being a Windows switchee, she's looking for a simple paint-like program to use. Simple being the key word here.

Thanks.

I cannot speak for Mac-Mini/Leopard but we are running Leopard on the following with no issues at all.

24" iMac (Intel )
12" iBook ( G4)
13" Macbook ( Intel )
Powermac (G4) <--- this one has some weird aftermarket Wireless card in a PCI slot.

We were having issues with WI-Fi dropping on some computers, but we switched to a new Router and the problem went away.
