Personally, I'd wait.
The Mac Mini is a bit old now, so an update is coming.
Im hoping for one. I really can't wait beyond June. Last time they had an 11 month period. They updated it in September 06 and then in August 07.

I'd wait as long as I could
But, remember WWDC is a "pro" event, we've seen consumer updates there, but often old consumer Mac have been passed by for software or "Pro" hardware.
A "consumer" update for the iMac/Mac Mini could pop on on a random tuesday
See, I thought that at first. But this year they seem so focused on the iPhone for WWDC, it makes me think they may not release any Mac stuff on WWDC. They may have a special event in August like last year, but I can't wait till August. In 2 weeks I'll only have 1 slow, garbage PC and I'll need a replacement extremely soon.
That's true... I just don't want to have buyers remorse a month later just because of a little bit of being impatient. I've always bought Apple products right at release and have never gotten buyers remorse, so far, from any of their products(iPod 5G, iPod Nano 2G, iPod Touch). This is my first Mac and the specs are already far less than what I expect from a Windows machine. Just tryin to get the most bang for my buck, but can't wait as long as August. Or even July.If you need it in a hurry then get it now... If they bring out an update in a few months time the mini you bought now won't stop being a good machine!
I waited for two months, but really needed a new computer, so I got a refurb mini on Saturday. It arrived this morning.
This means they're bound to update the Mini within 2 weeks!
