Mac Mini Relaunching and apps crashing

So I just go this Mac Mini last week. It was running OSX 10.5 just great. I decided to install iLife 08 last night. Today I was trying to connect to my wife's laptop. Every time I did and tried to grab a file off it it would relaunch my finder. Same thing when I tried to screen share. I then tried to use Safari to download a pdf file and the app would crash. I did the software update and got a bunch of iLife apps updates. It now says I'm up to date. What's up? Please help.

Mac Mini 1.66 running 10.5.2
